this is a school project, we were to choose a master painting and make an add with it by changing some elements of the painting. A real pain in the ass if you ask me! the teacher gave us a month and we had tones of other projects to do simultaniously...by the time it was due date my classmates had turned into zombies cause of lack of sleep, and now we're all sick. The add I made was for starbuck coffee...it used to have the logo on the bottom left corner but I forgot to link it to the file so it's not on this copy...ha well just pretend it's there.
original painting ญญญ''the kiss'' by Gustave Klimt
What?? No comments?? This is so pretty...love the little starbucks cup, cute touch The colors and patterns are gorgeous..I especially like how it looks exactly like the original painting..until you look a bit closer at them..really cool project!
I love that. I love it, love it, LOVE IT. Gah. Klimt has one fo those kind of styles that is a bitch to reproduce so kudos to you. Also the addition to the original piece is great. <3
In my art class, the students have to paint a famous work of art on a ceiling tile, and I chose to paint "The Kiss." I'm still working on it though. I started it about two months ago. 0_o

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
